Gardasil Destroys Girl’s Ovaries: It Should Have Been Predicted

October 18, 2012 by admin in Vaccines with 79 Comments

A huge array of terrible effects have been attributed to Gardasil. They were predictable—and we’re likely to see many more over the next few years. Here’s why it could, and should, have been predicted.

Womanhood Stolenby Heidi Stevenson

As noted in Gardasil Destroys Girl’s Ovaries: Research on Ovaries Never Considered, the BMJ has published the case report of a healthy 16-year-old Australian girl whose womanhood appears to have been stolen by Gardasil vaccinations. She became fully menopausal, her ovaries irrevocably shut down, without experiencing womanhood. That article focuses on the fact that Merck, Gardasil’s developer, had to be aware of potential harm to ovaries and either hid research documenting it or simply didn’t do it.

This article focuses on the how readily so many Gardasil disorders could—and should—have been predicted, simply by examining the known effects of two ingredients.

The article, Premature ovarian failure 3 years after menarche in a 16-year-old girl following human papillomavirus vaccination1, draws direct attention to three primary facts:

  • The girl has been thoroughly examined and tested. There is no known explanation other than the series of three Gardasil vaccinations she had.
  • Ovarian death—premature menopause—is generally believed to result from an autoimmune disorder.
  • They were unable to obtain data on the histology of rat ovaries resulting from the Human Papillomavirus Quadrivalent Vaccine (Gardasil), though it was performed on rat testes and made available.

These three facts are chilling, but further examination has shown that there’s even worse. Adverse effects like premature menopause—and worse—could, and should, have been predicted.

Two Risky Ingredients

Gardasil contains two ingredients that are known to cause some of the damage that is now being seen. They are polysorbate 80 (brand names Tween 80, Alkest, and Canarcel) and L-histidine. Polysorbate 80 has been shown in at least one study to do great harm to female reproductive organs. The risk from L-histidineis more subtle, as its absence is the issue, but it’s likely more pervasive. The mechanism that would cause a lack of L-histidine is explained.

Polysorbate 80

Polysorbate 80 is known to cause damage to female rats’ reproductive system2, and there is no reason to believe that the human reproductive system is spared. Delayed effects of neonatal exposure to Tween 80 on female reproductive organs in rats states:

Treatment with Tween 80 accelerated maturation, prolonged the oestrus cycle, and induced persistent vaginal oestrus. The relative weight of the uterus and ovaries was decreased relative to the untreated controls. Squamous cell metaplasia of the epithelial lining of the uterus and cytological changes in the uterus were indicative of chronic oestrogenic stimulation. Ovaries were without corpora lutea, and had degenerative follicles.

Surely it should come as no surprise that at least one girl’s ovaries were lost after taking Gardasil vaccinations. It was predictable.

Polysorbate 80 can cause anaphylactic shock. A study in the Annals of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology3 concluded:

Polysorbate 80 is a ubiquitously used solubilizing agent that can cause severe nonimmunologic anaphylactoid reactions.

The most frightening trait of polysorbate 80 may be that it crosses the blood-brain barrier and can take other substances with it. It is used for that purpose. The drugs loperamide4 and doxorubicin5 are coated with polysorbate for just this purpose—to drag them into the brain.

So what else can polysorbate 80 drag into the brain? Gardasil utilizes aluminum as an adjuvant, even though it’s a dangerous neurotoxin. Injection of aluminum is associated with several neurological disorders, as is reported in Gaia Health and Mechanisms of aluminum adjuvant toxicity and autoimmunity in pediatric populations6, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune thyroid disease, inflammatory bowel disease, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, and autism may all be associated with aluminum adjuvants in vaccines.

Can polysorbate open the blood-brain barrier to let aluminum in? No one really knows because no one has looked. There is, though, no legitimate reason to assume that it cannot.

Considering how significant the risks of polysorbate 80 are, surely the precautionary rule should be applied before mass vaccinations of girls. And then there’s L-Histidine …

L-Histidine

L-histidine is a precursor of histamine, which triggers the inflammation response in allergic reactions. We may think of histamine as negative, but it is, in fact, crucial for health. Though it can be excessive in the inflammatory response it triggers in allergic reactions, we wouldn’t survive without the inflammation it triggers in general infections.

L-histidine is an essential amino acid with several other functions, including7:

  • Tissue repair and growth.
  • Maintaining the myelin sheath of nerves.
  • Production of both red and white blood cells.
  • Production of histamine, carnosine, and anserine.
  • Acting as an antioxidant.
  • Stimulating gastric secretions.
  • Sexual arousal and orgasm in women.
  • Acting as a neurotransmitter.
  • Stimulating secretion of pepsin and hydrochloric acid, making it essential in digestion.
  • Circadian rhythm.

Low levels of L-histidine have been associated with rheumatoid arthritis7. It’s required for processing and chelation of copper, zinc, cobalt, and iron8,9,10,11, all of which are classed as heavy metals and noted for causing a variety of severe disorders when held in the body in excessive amounts.

Excessive amounts of these heavy metals can result in a large array of symptoms and conditions, including the milder ones of:

  • Nausea
  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhea
  • Irritable bowel
  • Stomach pain
  • Headache
  • Sweating
  • Joint pain

All of these symptoms are frequently reported by girls who are given the Gardasil vaccine. The question is: How do these symptoms of heavy metal intoxication relate to L-histidine in Gardasil? L-histidine is a necessary amino acid. It’s normally found in the body. All of these symptoms are related to inadequate amounts of the substance, so how can injecting it result in less L-histidine?

It is the seemingly innocuous nature that’s at issue. L-histidine is an amino acid that naturally occurs in the body. So too does squalene occur in the body naturally. It’s one of a group of oils used as adjuvants. However, they are not used in vaccines for human beings, with the insane and devastating exception of squalene. They are used to induce autoimmune disorders in laboratory animals so that they can be studied for response to potential treatments for those disorders. That’s why squalene is so dangerous and is clearly what’s behind Gulf War Syndrome. You can read about the likely connection between squalene and  Swedish and Finnish narcolepsy outbreaks in How the Flu Vaccine Causes Narcolepsy.

Unless otherwise demonstrated, it must be assumed that injecting L-histidine can result in an autoimmune disorder in which L-histidine is attacked by the immune system, resulting in a shortage of it and the substances requiring it for manufacture.

For example:

  • Joint pain is a common complaint of girls who have been injected with Gardasil. Rheumatoid arthritis is known to be associated with low levels of L-histidine12. Of course, low levels of L-histidine can be expected if the immune system sees it as an enemy because it’s been injected. Therefore, joint pain and arthritis were predictible sequelae of Gardasil.
  • Weight gain has been reported in girls who’ve been given Gardasil. This should have surprised no one. The hypothalamus converts L-histidine into histamine for the purpose of suppressing hunger13. If an autoimmune condition destroys L-histidine, then there may be inadequate histamine and weight gain is a likely result.
  • Will we see an epidemic of miscarriages and birth defects in girls who don’t have the misfortune of becoming sterile from Gardasil? It seems likely, because histamine is necessary in the development of embryos and organs14.

It was entirely predictable that any bodily function that relies on L-histidine or one of the substances for which it’s a precursor, including histamine, carnosine, and anserine, could be affected. It should come as no surprise that adverse effects of Gardasil include a wide range of disorders and deaths. It would have been surprising had Gardasil not produced them!

Why?

Gardasil may be the first vaccine to utilize L-histidine. The reason it’s included doesn’t seem to be explained anywhere. The adverse effects of polysorbate 80 are well known, especially when it’s injected. Polysorbate 80′s ability to bypass the blood-brain barrier is not new information; yet, it was included in this vaccine that utilizes a known neurotoxin, aluminum.

The question that must be asked is: Why? What reason could possibly exist for a vaccine that could predictably result in such incredible harm? Much of the potential damage will likely not be seen for years. Will be find that the already-high rate of infertility skyrockets? Will those who do manage to conceive suffer the anguish of miscarriages and babies with birth defects? How many will suffer from autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis? How many will suffer from neurological disorders, such as the Tourette’s-like tics suffered by girls in New York?

Joel Lord refers to Gardasil, along with Cervarix, as A Legacy of Shame. We are now seeing only the beginning of the adverse effects that have likely been caused. Autoimmune disorders tend to take time to show up. It takes time before pubescent girls become sexually active. How many of them will never experience the potential of sexual intimacy because the vaccine’s L-histidine has stolen their ability of sexual arousal and orgasm?

The simplest reason of all is, of course, money. Merck and its minions simply value money over anything else, including the quality of countless young women’s lives. Nor do they appear to care how many will suffer early deaths. Are there other reasons? In my view, nothing could be more insidious than to willingly hide the terrible and predictable potential of a product simply to get rich. Others, though, see this as part of a conspiracy. What are your views?

Cynthia A. Janak investigated Gardasil ingredients polysorbate 80 and L-histidine with horror. Although I don’t share her suspicion that the problem is caused by a synergistic relationship between the two, her work has been indispensable. You can read about her findings in Polysorbate 80 and Histidine, a marriage of disaster. I have discussed this issue with Leslie Carol Botha of Holy Hormones!, who referred me to Cynthia Janak’s work. This article would not have been produced without the insights of both these women.

Heidi, your articles are on the “must read” list and you ask out-loud the questions we all have in our minds. The question that must be asked is: Why? What reason could possibly exist for a vaccine that could predictably result in such incredible harm? Much of the potential damage will likely not be seen for years. Will we find that the already-high rate of infertility skyrockets? Will those who do manage to conceive suffer the anguish of miscarriages and babies with birth defects? How many will suffer from autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis? How many will suffer from neurological disorders, such as the Tourette’s-like tics suffered by girls in New York? We now must wait for the answers in the coming years and decades. We must hold the individuals in charge of promoting and producing such drugs accountable.

      Excellent article thank you Heidi.
Debbie, you are right to ask questions . Here’s an incomplete list of hitherto unanswered
      questions regarding Gardasil:

      Whether it
prevents cancer, necessity for boosters, if it increases risk of cancer, if it
increases risk of cancer due to aluminium bound recombinant HPV DNA, if
Gardasil vaccinated may donate blood without the aluminium bound recombinant
HPV DNA causing serious health consequences for the recipient, if there is increased risk of autoimmune
disorders due to the recombinant HPV DNA, if HPV is necessarily an infection
      transmitted by sexual intercourse,
whether it causes genotoxicity, targets the relevant virus strains in
different demographics,if the strains change in the course of time, adverse
events due to concomitant administration with other vaccines, true extent of serious adverse events, long term serious side effects, what the
results would be if a true placebo had been used in the clinical trials, what the results of clinical trials would be
if Merck had not used their own exclusion criteria, if there is increased risk
of blood clots when it is combined with oral contraceptives, if there is an
increased risk of brain damage, consequences of “bridging” – extrapolation of study results from one group
      to another, potentially serious consequences
if it is not thoroughly shaken, if it will increase risk of infertility, whether polysorbate is
      carcinogenic, health consequences due to
      combination of polysorbate and l-histidine,
      if aluminium adjuvant is safe,
consequences of presence sodium borate, if it will increase risk of miscarriages, stillbirths or babies
born with anomalies, if it is excreted in human milk, complete list of
      ingredients, whether possible benefits
      outweigh the risks.

These types of important questions must be answered BEFORE young people receive the vaccinations.

Perhaps population control? It was done in other countries under the guise of a “vaccine”, why not here?

What people do note realize is that when a woman’s body becomes threatened – or becomes so compromised – the reproductive system is the first system to shut down – to prevent pregnancy. However, Gardasil has not only ‘threatened/compromised’ the women’s health – the insidious chemical cocktail has actually destroyed women’s eggs and their ovaries. This is why the vaccine needs to be taken off the market. Gardasil is not a prevention vaccine – it is potentially a weapon of mass destruction.

Because HPV is sexually transmsitted. Girls get exposed to HPV from having sex with boys. And boys get HPV from having sex with girls. The theory is if you vaccinate both – no more HPV. (whether that theory is correct is another subject.)

      • TimWebb

Only one problem with this theory. Gardasil/Cervarix creates antibodies to only 2 or 3 of the viruses which are associated with ( not necessarily caused by ) cervical cancer. So what you are doing is influencing these viruses to shift towards a population of the other “causative” viruses. This strategy is a bit like building a dam to stop up the water cascading down a mountainside. Initially, it seems like quite a good idea…

      • courageandhope

SOME HPV is sexually transmitted. Of over 150 strains of HPV, about 40 can be sexually transmitted. But HPV is normally found in 50% of the normal adult population and 40% of children, according to Dr. Christiane Northrup, “Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom” (p. 268). Of all those strains, only a very few are associated with progress towards cancer. Gardasil targets only two–uncommon–strains associated with cancer, ##16 and 18. There is so much hype and promotion of this vaccine to read through to get to the real facts.

      • Kathy Austin

If it works, why vaccinate boys, girls will not get it anyway? Either option is, of course, assuming that the vaccination actually does protect all those who have had it… That is not the case with some other types of vaccine…

You said, “without experiencing womanhood.” So…one can’t be an effective woman without experiencing pregnancy? I know it is a very special experience for many…but, please. Don’t insult all the other women who can’t have kids for other reasons.

    • / Heidi Stevenson

She will experience her entire adult life as a menopausal woman. As the paper’s authors point out, that has effects on her health throughout her life. Her body will not mature properly. She will age like a woman who has passed menopause, not like a young woman. There is also the fact that all hormones have a knock-on effect, including those produced by the ovaries. A woman who’s been through menopause does not have completely nonfunctioning ovaries like this girl; they still produce testosterone. That’s what I meant by not experiencing womanhood, not that she wouldn’t have babies. But, she doesn’t have that option now, unlike women who have chosen not to have children.

This girl will never experience womanhood. Choosing to have a baby is separate issue.

    • KrisL

Choosing not to have children is one thing. Having it taken away from you is something else entirely. Both of my teenage daughters have had the HPV vaccines. My 17 year old daughter has been experiencing tics and bad headaches for years now and the doctor has no idea why. Coincidence? I’m am just now finding out that it is, in fact, because of her Gardacil injections. That’s not an insult, that is fact. My children may or may not be able to have children of their own now because of these injections. Yes, there are many other reasons some women can’t have children. But this was completely unnecessary. Don’t insult these children by belittling the effects this may have on them in the future.

  • Clint F

But…but…denying children this vaccine will deny them consequence-free sex in a government sponsored, morality-free environment! Sound racist…

I considered getting this for a time, despite the fact that I didn’t really need it as I’m not promiscuous (and look at what it’s done to women!). I was told I could only have it before I turned 26 (or perhaps 27, I don’t remember which). Thankfully I am too old for it now. But this in itself raises more questions. If such harmful chemicals are given that could cause problems like ovarian death, if one was to give it AT ALL (which is absurd given the damage it does), wouldn’t it make more sense to give it to older women whose systems are already developed?

Then there is this. If a couple has a monogamous relationship with ONE partner, then the risks of HPV are almost nonexistent. This is encouraging young girls (and boys, indirectly) to be promiscuous, albeit without coming right out and saying it. It IS saying they are EXPECTING girls to be promiscuous, which should by all rights be completely insulting to teen girls and parents everywhere.

And these are just the tip of the iceberg. Look at truthaboutgardasil.org. It’s chilling.

    • trellis23

Even if you are only ever with the person you marry, it’s cute how you believe there is no possibility that they either were with someone prior (and told you otherwise), or will cheat on you despite what all the statistics say. It may happen, but it’s def. the exception to the rule, and has been since long before this vaccination existed. There are plenty of reasons to be against this vaccine, accusing girls who take it as being promiscuous or saying it encourages it is ignorant and short sighted. STDs only take one time and this one specifically can be passed without having sex.

    • / Heidi Stevenson

There are two reasons why the vaccine isn’t given to older women. The first is that it’s clearly known – but Merck, GSK, and the FDA – that any woman already infected is significantly more likely to develop cancer (and it appears that she would likely develop it much faster, too).

The other – the more salient point – is that it’s well know that most people clear these viruses from their systems naturally with no ill effects within two years of infection.

      • TimWebb

The third reason is that older women are by definition less likely to reproduce, so they are not the first port of call for the eugenicist.
The vaccine isn’t about protecting a person’s health. It targets only a very few of the known associated ( not causative ) viruses. it is about getting l-histidine and Tween 80 into their systems under some pretext, with a view, as Gates has expressed publically, to reducing population..
This is exactly the same as the situation with the flu virus. The vaccination decimates the CD8 population, thus opening the door to similar and thus more deadly viral attacks. If it contains T80, it will also prevent any future generations from ever experiencing the unmitigated horrors of going down with the flu.
        How thoughtful of Big P.

I didn’t buy into the hype and give my daughters the shot. I knew right from the start-the lack of information, the push by doctors to get it, the over the top marketing. There seemed to be an agenda for this thing from the start.

    • courageandhope

I know a person who was old enough to have the shot whether her mother wanted her to or not, right before college. Her doctor actually vaccinated her while she was on antibiotics for walking pneumonia. Bad idea. She continued to have a chronic cough and respiratory problems all through college. Asthma was ruled out; but no diagnosis was determined; the doctor did not think it was continued pneumonia. Nurse suggested antihistamines and decongestants. She got the third Gardasil shot after graduation and within six months had cellulitis around her eye, periorbital cellulitis. She could have lost her eye. She was just 22. I believe the Gardasil vaccine weakened her immune system so she couldn’t fight off infections as well.

“The simplest answer is money”. A slightly more complex answer is “population”. This is the reason why l-histidine is included in Gardasil/Cervarix. Female disinterest in coitus tends to result in a very predictable outcome, as spelled out by William Gates in his YouTube comments.

“Maintain world population below 1/2 billion”.

It’s all there. All you have to do is to look.

Well, the results are in: we now know that the HPV vaccine works extremely well:

HPV Vaccine Dramatically Cuts Number of Infections in Teen Girls
    http://www.pbs.org/newshour/bb/health/jan-june13/hpv_06-20.html
Infection by a virus that causes cervical cancer has dropped more than
50 percent in teenage girls since a vaccine against the virus was
introduced in 2006. That’s the finding in a new study by the Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention, testing the effectiveness of the new
vaccine against human papilloma virus, or HPV.

    • / Heidi Stevenson

If that were the whole story, it might be true. However, cutting HPV infections is not the same thing as cutting cancer. The fact is that it’s only two kinds of viruses associated with cancer that the vaccine addresses. There is no reason to believe that cancer will be reduced by it. It’s highly likely that other types of cancer-related viruses will move in to fill the ecological gap left by the missing HPV viruses – and it’s also possible that they could be more virulent.

Nature does abhor a vacuum, and, at best, this vaccine creates one.

and consider the references given in the comments.
Does P1llman have a link to the actual study? With over 150 different strains of HPV, about 40 of which are sexually transmitted, one has to wonder about this study, particularly since a healthy immune system usually clears a HPV infection with no problem within months up to two years. Gardasil targets two strains of HPV that cause genital warts, ##6 and 11, and two of the rare strains that are associated with progression to cancer, ##16 and 18. This subject is complicated and a press release designed to push the government’s pro-vaccine campaign does not begin to address all the issues.

You actually think that the opinion of the CDC – an agency that is soaked in Big Pharma money, whose previous chief went straight to a cushy job as Merck’s vice president of vaccines – has your interests at heart??? Can you be more naive than that?

Your reference is worthless as an authority to be trusted.

The fact is that this site has reviewed the studies on the topic – the real ones, as opposed to those bought and paid for by the corporations trying to profit off the profits – and those genuine studies clarify that the HPV vaccines have NOT been shown to be beneficial in terms of preventing cervical cancer, and may do great harm. The science, the real science that isn’t steeped in Big Pharma’s money, has never shown that they the HPV vaccines provide the benefits claimed.

    • P1llman

You seem to believe that corporations never provide any benefit to society and are only after the almighty dollar. Yet nutraceuticals, vitamins, and organic foods are also big business and are manufactured by large corporations of their own. They are also in it for the profit. For instance, I see that Dr. Mercola posts articles on your site, yet he has been criticized by the Better Business Bureau, the medical watchdog Quackwatch, and by BusinessWeek magazine to name a few. He is on record as being against microwave ovens, homogenization, and sunscreens. Yet he made $7 million in 2010 selling his nutraceuticals. Why does your site give credence to a single person making millions of dollars off of people in poor health, but not to a company? Also, your own site displays many web ads for various organic and “natural” health cures and supplements – ads which fund your site and provide you income. How can we trust you? How can we believe you when you denounce the CDC in my post, yet praise the CDC on other webpages on your site when their opinion agrees with yours?
As a scientist, I believe that my posts have been civil and have provided only facts. Yet you violated your own Commenting Rule #2 by quickly calling me “naive” when you could not refute my argument and did not supply a reference as I had requested. If you resorted to name-calling this early into a discussion (I will not call it an argument), then… who really is the naive one?

      • / Heidi Stevenson

It is not an ad hominem attack to suggest that believing in the claims of the CDC is naive. If you have to dig that far to try to accuse me of an ad hominem attack, then you have nothing of value ot say.

You continued with suggestions that the BBB or Quackwatch are legitimate organizations are also absurd, indicative of yet more naivety. Business Week is also funded by the same sorts of corporations.

To put Marcola in the same category as a pharmaceutical corporation is just plain absurd.

You then say that Gaia Health praises the CDC when they agree with Gaia Health – as if there’s something wrong with giving credit where it’s due! As a whole, I do not believe that the CDC is credible, but give credit where it’s due – and you try to call that dishonest or unreasonable.

You call yourself a scientist, yet you have not yet made a statement that would support your claim, nor do you try to offer arguments from a basis of science – and you clearly don’t understand what an ad hominem attack is.

      • Kathy Austin

Please do not quote Quackwatch! By definition it is opposed to anything not conventional medicine. The author appears to be an expert in everything but really only displays his bias. We need good, independent science.

Heidi, why do you not share Cynthia Janak’s suspicion? Also, this paragraph above bothers me: “Unless otherwise demonstrated, it must be assumed that injecting L-histidine can result in an autoimmune disorder in which L-histidine is attacked by the immune system, resulting in a shortage of it and the substances requiring it for manufacture.” Why would we assume that?

    • / Heidi Stevenson

While I have no doubt that some vaccines do cause reproductive damage, I hesitate to jump to the conclusion that it’s intentional. In my view, that requires considerably more evidence.

Regarding the reason for treating L-histidine as dangerous when injected, it’s because the act of injecting a substance that’s a normal part of the body holds the potential of causing an autoimmune response against it. That’s a severe risk, and one that I do not believe is justified. After all, the fact is that the equivalent of rheumatoid arthritis is intentionally caused in lab animals simply by injecting a substance that’s equivalent to collegen, thus resulting in an autoimmune disorder.

From Dr. Christiane Northrup’s book, “Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom,” Ch. 9, “Vulva, Vagina, Cervix, and Lower Urinary Tract, begins: “The discussion of human papilloma virus, p. 268, “Human papilloma virus (HPV) is a very common virus that can cause venereal warts and is associated with abnormal Pap smears, or cervical dysplasia. At least 50 percent of the normal adult population and 40 percent of children are estimated to show evidence of HPV infection. The vast majority of women who have been exposed to HPV do not develop any warts or cervical dysplasia. But in others HPV is associated with cervical cancer.”

It goes on in the second paragraph: “Controvery abounds in the OB/GYN literature as to whether HPV actually causes cervical dysplasia [abnormal cells on Pap smear] or whether the virus and the dysplasia are just in the same place at the same time–that is, in the abnormal cervical tissue. The DNA of HPV (the genetic material of the virus, used for identification) has been found in virtually all abnormal Pap smears and cervical cancer cells. However; the majority of women who have been exposed to HPV do NOT get cervical dysplasia. HPV is only a cofactor in cervical dysplasia and so cannot be considered the single cause of it….Abnormalities start to grow and cause damage only when the immune system has already been weakened in that area of the body and is unable to maintain the health of the tissue.” (pp. 268-269).

I strongly recommend this book for people wishing to understand HPV and make an informed decision about the Gardasil vaccine. Other sources for info on HPV: http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/prevention/HPV-vaccineSource

OMG……I was so lamb blasted for 3 years……from my daughters doctor……how I am neglecting her……Putting her at high risk (she is not sexually active)…..My repeated questions…….HOW MUCH RESEARCH HAVE THEY DONE????? I had such a gut feeling……..on this……and yes……i never gave in. So ..today…..I feel so bad for all those girls and families…….that could possibly have such side effects. Thank the lord for telling me to stick with my gut decision. There is STILL not enough results or testing to prove otherwise!

Ugggghhh this article is so poorly researched. Why can’t they have somebody with a background in science, or even logic, write science articles.

I’m going to outline why the Gaia-Health article
must be viewed as pseudoscience at it’s greatest, and should not be taken
seriously until more research is provided by the author.

    1. The three facts listed in the opening segment are,
    in fact, not facts:

    “The girl has been
thoroughly examined and tested. There is no known explanation other than the
series of three Gardasil vaccinations she had.” – The series of
three Gardasil vaccinations is not proven to be the cause, and thus is not an explanation
to the problem of the “Healthy 16-year-old Australian Girl”.

    “Ovarian
death—premature menopause—is generally believed to result from an autoimmune
disorder.” What does “generally believed” mean? Just
because a majority believes it does not mean it’s true. Words like these should
make one wonder about the credibility of the author’s statements.

    “They were unable
to obtain data on the histology of rat ovaries resulting from the Human
Papillomavirus Quadrivalent Vaccine (Gardasil), though it was performed on rat
testes and made available.” This is a fact, but it does not pertain
to the premise, and is thus irrelevant.

    2. Polysorbate 80

According to a study, “Evaluation of developmental
neurotoxicity of polysorbate 80 in rats”, the average American or
European consumes around 100mg of polysorbate 80 daily. The influenza vaccine
contains 25 micrograms of polysorbate 80 per dose. I imagine the range of
polysorbate 80 in any vaccine does not extend beyond 100mg much less 200
micrograms. If Polysorbate 80 is indeed a huge contributor to premature
menopause then there should be a much greater percentage of the population
    experiencing these issues.

“Can polysorbate open the blood-brain barrier to let
aluminum in? No one really knows because no one has looked. There is, though,
no legitimate reason to assume that it cannot.” This is an argument to
ignorance, a basic fallacy. Thus there is a legitimate reason to look further
into the author’s words and take it as a statement whose sole purpose is to say:
somebody please do research on this.

    3. L-Histidine

    “Unless otherwise
demonstrated, it must be assumed that injecting L-histidine can result in an
autoimmune disorder in which L-histidine is attacked by the immune system,
resulting in a shortage of it and the substances requiring it for manufacture.”

First of all, the autoimmune system
attacks proteins, or other-wise know as amino acid chains. L-Histidine is not
an amino acid chain, and thus will not be attacked by the autoimmune system.
Secondly, the authors example that “joint pain is a common complaint of
girls who have been injected with Gardasil. Rheumatoid arthritis is known to be
associated with low levels of L-histidine” comes from a study of
whose entire research group was composed of only girls with rheumatoid
arthritis. It is very possible that the low levels of Hitidine is a result of
    rheumatoid arthritis, and not Gardasil.

The article is completely based on a report by scientists who are exceptionally knowledgeable about the subject. It seems fairly obvious that the one whose research is poor is you.

The suggestion that the fact the vaccine was not tested on ovaries, when it was tested on testes, is a clearly related point, and your suggestion that it’s irrelevant is absurd.

And your claim that the “autoimmune system” attacks only proteins is absolutely absurd. There is no autoimmune system. The immune system most certainly can attack nonproteins. It’s known to attack polysaccharides and lipids. In fact, one particular autoimmune condition, multiple sclerosis, is defined by attack of the immune system on lipids around nerves.

Three strikes and you are out!

      • richard

Ok. First off this is not baseball. I have a lot of other points that you did not comment on, which I believe, in themselves, make this article too fallacious to be taken seriously.

        In regards to ‘strike 1′
That the article could be so fallacious leads me to believe that it was written by somebody poorly suited for the topic.

        In regards to ‘strike 2′
Ovaries are not testes. That is a fact. They play very different roles and even produce different hormones! So we can safely say that the research on testes does not apply to the premise that Gardasil has an effect on ovaries. We can however say that it had an effect on testes. Unfortunately, unless you can prove that testes=ovaries, then the original premise is not maintained and the argument is thus irrelevant. It really is simple logic. If T then F assuming T. Here the author is switching T with J and saying: if J then F see!!!

        In regards to ‘strike 3′
You’re correct. I can admit when I’m wrong. The autoimmune response does act against non proteins, such as lipids and bacteria. However, If the immune system were to attack an amino acid, like the article claims, then one would have a much bigger problem than the loss of function in an organ. The affected person would die if they were unable to intake an essential amino acid.

        • / Heidi Stevenson

Of course it’s relevant that testes were tested and ovaries weren’t! It shows intentional refusal to test what was relevant to the vaccine as it was initially intended for sale. Its purpose was for females, not for males. The fact that they tested testes instead of ovaries is a blatant demonstration of lack of good intentions – that, or a suggestion that they’ve withheld the results of tests on ovaries. These pharmaceutical corporations are now known to do that, so there’s no reason to believe any good intentions.

That’s right, a person would die if an essential amino acid were attacked – and the fact is that many girls have died.

      • richard

Also I apologize Heidi for being so frank with your writing. I was not aware that you were the author, but I hope you take the criticism well.

        • / Heidi Stevenson

What a phony apology! Apologizing for being frank? That’s a farce – as your arguments have proven to be.

You’re a troll, or perhaps a wannabe troll. You aren’t here to either learn or debate, but only to try to cast aspersions, and when caught, issue false apologies.. That’s the end of it.
