Australia Says Immunize Children or Lose Tax Benefits – But There’s a Way Out

News media throughout Australia have been doing Big Pharma’s work by telling parents that they no longer have a choice in vaccinating their children. They’re told that refusal will result in the loss of family tax benefits.

That’s sorta kinda true. However, there is a way of getting around the new rules—and I’m going to give you that information.

The immunization schedule for Australian children is increasing, just as it’s doing elsewhere in the world. On 1 July 2012, a little over six months from now, parents are being told that they have no choice: Their children must receive every vaccine on the government’s schedule or lose their family tax benefits of $726 per child per year.

Even more immunizations are being added to the mandated vaccination schedule, and some at earlier ages, thus increasing the risks.

The disease that’s especially hyped is whooping cough, which is claimed to be making a comeback. However, they’re not telling people the whole truth of the new outbreaks. The vaccine itself is the cause! The new outbreaks are the result of a new and more virulent variety of whooping cough that’s a mutation resulting from the vaccine itself—and it’s 10 times more deadly!

Nicola Roxon, the Health Minister, has announced that there will be a new campaign to “advise” parents on how to protect their children from whooping cough. Of course, we already know what they’ll suggest: vaccinations, of course! So, they intend to continue vaccinating with a vaccine that’s causing the new deadlier whooping cough outbreaks. How does that affect your confidence level in the country’s vaccination program?

The Lie in the Government’s Official Information for Parents

The Australian government offers a FAQ, Frequently Asked Questions, page about the new program. On it is the statement:

A child may have a temporary or permanent exemption if a recognised immunisation provider determines that receiving the vaccine is medically contraindicated. A child may also receive an exemption from the immunisation requirements if a recognised immunisation provider indicates that the parent has a conscientious objection to immunising their child. 

That is not true! A child may receive an exemption based solely on the parent’s wishes. The provider is required to sign the form stating that he or she has provided the required information to the parent. There is no requirement that the doctor agree with the exemption. You can verify this by reviewing the exemption document yourself.

How to Opt Out of the Vaccination Requirement

Australia is unique in making it particularly easy to opt out of having your children vaccinated. There are no hoops to jump through, no requirements to be met, and no fees to be paid. All you need to do is fill out one single-page form and mail it off to the address that’s given on the form.

You will need to provide your child’s details, have your doctor sign it declaring only that he’s advised you, and you must sign a statement saying:

I declare that: I have discussed the benefits and risks of immunisation and risks of immunisation with the provider named above and have considered the information given. I have also been given the opportunity to discuss any concerns about immunisation with the provider.

I have a personal, philosophical, religious or medical belief involving a conviction that vaccination under the National Immunisation Program should not take place. On this basis, I choose not to have my child immunised.

You don’t have to be specific about why you want the exemption. You merely have to state that you want it.

One Other Option to Avoid Some, But Not All, Vaccinations

Some people do not wish to opt out entirely, but do have concerns about certain vaccines, based on potentially bad effects that their doctors would be willing to document. In such cases, the Australian government makes it easy if the doctor agrees.

Both of these forms list 800 phone numbers to call for assistance, the snail mail address to send to when complete, and a fax number if you’d prefer to fax it.
