The Destruction of Private Gardens Has Started in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Do you still believe that governments won’t come after you for growing healthy food or herbs? Watch this video to see that the attacks on private gardens have already started.
A Tulsa, Oklahoma woman who grew virtually all her own food and medicine broke no laws. Nonetheless, the city cut down all of Denise Morrison’s plants, leaving her literally without food to eat or medicine to treat her diabetes and arthritis.
Her garden was not only useful and necessary for her health, it was also lovely, as you’ll see in the video below. It’s now a grotesque mockery, a monument to government’s commitment to steal the people’s ability to manage their own health.
An anonymous complaint was made to the city about her garden, though the specifics are not being released. Morrison took photos to inspectors to show them that no code was broken. They weren’t interested, so she invited them to visit and see for themselves. They told her, “Everything, everything needs to go.”
So, she went to court on 15 August, the date ordered, and was told by the judge to return a couple of months later. But the city illegally went to her home the very next day, the 16th of August, and destroyed everything. Every plant she had was cut down.
If there’s any doubt that the intention of the city was to destroy Morrison’s ability to grow food and herbs, they left purely ornamental trees in place. But they cut down anything that bore edible fruit.
Morrison says:
Not only are the plants my livelihood, they’re my food and I was unemployed at the time and had no food left, no medicine left, and I didn’t have insurance. They took away my life and livelihood.
