Making a Killing on Psychiatric Drugs, in Both Senses of the Term

Sadness in the Eye

Doctors can get away with killing patients by falling back on the concept of “standard of care”. This means that, if other doctors do it, then it’s acceptable—no matter how much harm is done, even when patients are killed. That’s how psychiatry, and the rest of modern medicine’s doctors, get away with the devastation wreaked on people with their prescriptions of known dangerous and generally useless pharmaceutical drugs.

Psychiatrists wanted to be considered “real” doctors. By falsely claiming that mental states are caused by chemical imbalances, they got their wish. They have created the DSM, Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, complete with billing codes for each diagnosis defined. These so-called disorders get into the DSM by vote, literally. There is no physical basis or objective criteria on which to base them.

They keep adding to the list of diagnoses. Normal emotions brought about by common life events are called pathological. Normal behaviors are given diagnoses. That shouldn’t surprise us too much, since the title itself is fraudulent. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual doesn’t contain any statistics! It’s all smoke and mirrors. But the real-life effects are dramatic.

Through the development of an utterly fraudulent standard of care, psychiatrists and Big Pharma have been making a killing. Psychiatric appointments were once one or two hours long. People talked to them and tried to work their problems out. Now, though, appointments can be as brief as five minutes—and patients virtually always walk out with a diagnosis and either drugs or a prescription for drugs. Big Pharma makes billions of dollars from these prescriptions. The top three antipsychotics alone gross more than $13 billion a year. Psychiatrists get rich, some making millions, prescribing these poisons.

The other side of this killing made by psychiatry and Big Pharma is the killing of patients. The drugs given, and sometimes even forced, are destroying lives and killing people.

Children are now targeted. Schools give tests, often designed by Big Pharma’s representatives to pull as many as possible into their net. Based on these tests, normal children with no history of mental problems are even taken from their homes and forcibly drugged. If they return home, they’re often changed forever by drug-induced brain damage. A few die outright. Some drugs turn peaceful people violent. Nearly all—possibly every single one—of the school shootings over the last several years have been induced by violent manias caused by prescription drugs.

Psychiatric drugs are causing suicides, homicides, diabetes, akathisia, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, tardive dyskinesia, sudden death from heart stoppage, and many other life-destroying disorders. They even cause the disorders they supposedly treat!

Yet, psychiatrists and Big Pharma get away with it, destroying life after life, and increasing the pace of people pulled into their web of fake diagnoses and toxic drugging. They can do it with impunity because they set their own standard of care. Because most of them do it, by definition it’s considered acceptable. By psychiatrists. It’s long past time to take that authority away from them.

It’s time to Occupy Psychiatry.

Here is a compelling full-length (1 hour 34 minutes) documentary about this system that needs to be ended:

The gigantic extent of human devastation from psychiatric drugs is incredible. John Virapen, a former pharma-insider, relates to the situation in his book “Side Effects: Death. Confessions of a Pharma-insider”.
Information from the chapter titled “Depression – a National Disease? Kids on the most-wanted list”:

In the US the TeenScreen project involves giving kids candy and asking them to tick yes/no on a questionnaire with questions such as:

    – Has there ever been a time when you couldn’t do anything right?
    – Have you often thought about committing suicide?
    – Have you often been worried about a sport contest?
    – Has there ever been a time when nothing was fun for you and you had lost interest in everything?
    – Have you often been nervous if you had to do things in front of people?

On the basis of the answers the kid is brought to a doctor who labels the kid “Anxiety”, “Social Phobia”, “Panic Disorder”, etc.

The TeenScreen tests come to the result that ten percent of kids are mentally ill. The treatment is drugs in nine out of ten cases.

    John Virapen:
“Eight million kids in the US swallow drugs which change their awareness. Legally. Eight million kids can’t be mistaken. Questionnaires are great”.

I would like some proof behind the claim that most school shootings were perpetrated by people on anti-psychotics. A trustworthy link, study or two would make this much more believeable.

Wake up! Kip Kinkle in Springfield, Oregon and the Columbine shootings are two cases in which psychiatric drugs were the cause. Open your eyes. When these stories come out, follow up reporting almost always shows it to be the case. Since these stories are still rare enough to always make the news, no “trustworthy link” is required for that statement.

And the statement was not that antipsychotics were behind most school shootings, but that prescription drugs were. You’re misrepresenting what was written.
